Hi Everyone,
It's time for our annual SPRING beagle meet at Rocky Top Dog Park in Princeton, New Jersey.
The date and time will be, Sunday April 26th from 12:00 noon to 3:00PM. Rain date: May 17th..
Last year we had a really good turn out and expect this year will be the same. I think there were 65 beagles and at
least 2 to 3 times as many people. It’s a wonderful family day filled with lots of fun for all and the perfect time
to socialize with old and new friends from our face book group members and NJB puppy owners... The dogs love
the free open space to run, play, and just let loose. AND, it never seems to fail, every beagle meet one of the dogs
initiates “The Chase!” This usually stops EVERYONE in their tracks, as they can’t help but watch with amazement
as the long string of beagles chase the lead runner all around the park howling and barking in the true hound spirit..
Important information: Please remember to bring an up to date copy of your dogs shot records. This is as per the
township Recreation Department. No dog will be allowed into the park without proof of current vaccinations, so
please get a copy from your vet if you don't have one already. If you forget it at home and show up without it, please find me.
Humans are free but there is a $5.00 charge for each dog that enters the park.
Please, for obvious reasons, do not bring food or drinks into the park, except water.
There is a small fresh water pond that is available to the dogs, and a lot use it and love it. If you have a swimmer be sure
to bring a towel. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.
I will once again be doing my paper towel donation. Thank you in advance to anyone who is kind enough to donate a roll or two.
I can’t tell you how much it is appreciated, as I go through tons of paper towels each year cleaning after the puppies, and the kennel.
All donated paper towels can be left on the ground at the sign in table or thrown into the back of my car, which I will try to park right there.
The hatch will be open..... Once again, Thank you, thank you, thank you!
