"Happy Birthday Kids."
I'd like to thank all the families that participated by sending photos and updates on their puppy so we could add this birthday page to our website. I'm happy to report that after contacting all 11 families I found out that although not everyone sent photos, I did at least get updates and all the pups are doing great. Bringing lots of love and joy to their families and are all healthy and happy little dogs.
Now, lets meet each puppy up close and personal, and make sure your speakers are on to enjoy the b-day music.

Happy Birthday Sonny
Hi, I'm Sunny. Thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes. In turn, I
wish all of my cute Beagle sibs Happy Birthday, too! I love my human
family. I have a mommy and daddy and one brother and two sisters.
I'm really lucky. They all love me so much. Some of my favorite
things to do are playing fetch in the yard and running figure eights
around mommy when she's trying to get me to come in. She just needs
for me to remind her who's boss ;-)
I like my chew toys. Mommy says I can't have anymore plush toys or
rope toys because I chew 'em all up! When focused, I'm actually a
pretty good boy. Mommy has tried training me in the driveway, and
she was really impressed at how fast I seem to learn. Everyone tells
me how handsome I am. My best friend down the road is named Shadow -
he's a black lab. I can't wait to meet my cousins some day. My
human family has cousins who have beagles, too! Imagine that! I may
get to meet two of them this Christmas.

Happy Birthday Emma
Here are just a few words about "our Emma". She is
truly a sweetheart! We can't imagine life in our
household without her. She loves to take walks in the
woods, hunting deer tracks and bunnies. Everyone in
the neighborhood knows her and she always has a kiss
and a tail wag for all. She loves to have her belly
rubbed, especially first thing in the morning. She
will go get a toy, if asked and bring it over to play.
She knows the "sit", "down" and "come" commands
(although the latter usually has to involve food!).
She has really started to settle down from the puppy
stage...but she still has her moments! Thank you
again, Terry, for this wonderful and much loved
addition to our family. Happy Birthday to all of
Wendy and Powder's pups! Peggy, Andy and Paige

Happy Birthday Stella
Here's a little synopsis of Stella's wonderful life....
Stella gets to spend lots of time outside. She's happy and safe in our yard with an electronic fence. She has lots of visitors stopping by to say hello, including neighbors and their dogs. Stella makes friends with almost all two legged beasts and most four legged. She loves our cat Pooky. Unfortunately, Pooky does not feel the same. He was an only pet for over 12 years, until Stella came along.
Stella had a great time in Maine this summer. She loves chasing all the critters in the woods. She goes boating voluntarily, and swimming not so voluntarily. She even went tubing with Emily a few times. Stella also loves to go for walks and runs. We walk for an hour every day. She would like to stop and sniff around a little more often. But our walks are strictly for exercise. Stella is very trim and quite strong.
Everyone in our family loves Stella! We've had her for 10 months and can't imagine life without her!
Happy Birthday Commanche
Comanche is still very energetic! He loves posing for pictures, so although it won't show in the photos, the energy element is still hanging in there. Whether that's a good or bad thing--- you decide!
Manchi still has a "mind of his own", you could say. He dislikes being told what to do and is sometimes very stubborn. He can't accept losing, but will accept petting after you've "put him back in his place"! Manch loves visitors, and will jump all over you and lick your face like a mad-dog. It doesn't matter if he's never met you, or if you're like his cousin.
Overall, Comanche is a lovable little beagle with his mind set on big things--- and he'll prove to you they're possible!

Happy Birthday Jesse
Well, here she is....our Jesse! She's great! I think she's had a really good first year even though she had to have two surgeries for that recurring cherry eye. She's been a real trooper through it all. She's about 30 lbs. but the vet says that's fine because she looks great. She was pretty easy to train and is extremely lovable. All our friends and neighbors love her! She loves to be taken on walks and we get compliments all the time on how beautiful her coat is. As a matter of fact, our town does free rabies shots and the vet in charge couldn't say enough about how shiny her coat is. He asked my husband what we were feeding her & when he told him Pro Plan he said that explained it. He said it's the best & it's all he ever gives his dogs. All in all, it's been a great first year but it really flew by. I can't even remember what it was like without her. She's a wonderful addition to our family.

Happy Birthday Murphy
Murphy is the hit of the neighboorhood. Everyone knows him and wonders when we moved in.!(six years ago) He sees a person, lies down wherever and waits for them to come and pet him. He has the whole neighborhood trained.People have stopped us and said they have heard of Murphy and want ot meet him. He doesn't disappoint! He is so friendly with people and dogs . People actually want ot buy him he is so cute! His favorites things are to chew apart his toys and watch TV with us on the couch. I am soooo happy we got him. He has added so much joy to our lives. Happy Birthday Kacy
She's now truly a part of our family and is a real joy to have around. She enjoys outdoors and loves to play balls. She also gets very excited when we take her out for a ride in the car. The only thing we've not yet had much success with Kacy is loose-leash walking!
Kirby is a very sweet girl. Kirby loves to play with her toys, eat treats, chase leaves, and cuddle up with you. Kirby is 18lbs and 13 inches tall.
Happy Birthday Daisy
(aka Peanut)
We brought Daisy girl into our family back in May. She was 5 months old and an absolute cutie! When we brought her home, she molded right into our family like she had been ours for years. Daisy went to obedience school for 8 weeks to learn basic commands "sit", "stay", and "down". She has much affection and it is almost impossible to sit on the couch without having her on your lap to snuggle. She loves "love" and affection. If you are to leave her for a total of 5-10 minutes, when you come in the door, she carries on crying and licking you for a half an hour.
We have an electric fence for our front yard and a fenced in back yard. Daisy prefers the front because she can scope out all the action (like a typical girl!!!!!). Anyone who comes by the house, kids on their bikes, adults walking, other kids walking by....always stop in the driveway (not to see me) to visit with Daisy. She will see the person coming and start her carrying on and go right on her back to be rubbed. She is an absolute pussy cat. Speaking of which, we have come to discover that we believe Daisy to be in an identity crisis. She seems to be part cat and part human. By this, I mean she likes to sit on the top of the backs of the sofas (like a cat) and sometimes will even try and sit at the kitchen table (like a human). We're still trying to remind her that she is a puppy dog.
Daisy is a joy and a love bug and we cannot imagine our life without her in our family. We love her!
I didn't receive any photos from Troopers family, but I was told he is doing well and loved very much.
