There's no getting around it.  Uno is an unbelievably beautiful beagle, and New Jersey Beagles is delighted to finally see the beagle take top honors in this competition.  It's been an exciting time for beagle owners, breeders, and  lovers.  It's been especially exciting for all of us at New Jersey Beagles, as many of our own discussion forum members (over 200) were rooting Uno on . 

In the wake of Uno the beagle winning the Westminster Dog Show on February 12, 2008, ABC News contacted us at New Jersey Beagles asking if we would be willing to take part in a story they were running  about Uno for their "World News" show with Charles Gibson, airing February 13th.  For this feature they visited New Jersey Beagles, interviewed me, which didn't make the cut, and filmed some of our dogs playing in their kennel yard.  ABC also video taped Bonnie and Sammy's latest litter of puppies for the show, which I might add, was quite adorable. Even our "Beagle Discussion Forum" was part of this news report, as Bill Weir was visiting it during his piece with Uno's handler. 

All and all it was an exciting day for New Jersey Beagles and we're thrilled to know that in some small way we were part of Uno, and the beagles, well deserved victory celebration!!  Click here to  Watch the video shown on "World News."
