Wendy
Wendy is truly one in a million. She is six years old and has some understanding of potty training, as she has spent some time indoors. She has the sweetest personality you will ever find. There really are no words to describe just how special this dog is. You just have to see her for yourself to understand. She is a total lap dog and LOVES to be hugged. However, if you're looking for a dog that you can take on long walks, Wendy is not the dog for you. She does not like to leash walk. She prefers to be let out in her own back yard, so a fenced in yard is a must. Wendy is the type of dog that's going to cuddle up at your feet on a cold winter night. A loving, sweet, companion type dog who would rather follow her human master around for a hug then chase a ball in the back yard. She would definitely not fit in with a family who has an active lifestyle. We're going to take our sweet time finding just the right home for our sweet girl. She had a beautiful litter of puppies this past March so she's still firming up a little but for the most part she's in really great shape. Wendy is all caught up on her shots, micro chipped, and in excellent health.
Wendy also enjoys basking in the sun on a warm summer morning in her back yard and then she enjoys a refreshing dip in her pool with her beagle friends, so she's much more than just a house dog. She loves being with other dogs and loves the attention of people. A simple easy going life will make Wendy very happy.
Powder
Powder is a wonderful dog and we're looking to find her a good home. She has given us a couple of really beautiful litters in the past, but now we want to find her a good home where she'll be pampered and treated like a queen. Powder is going to be eight years old this September, but what a love of a dog. She's absolutely a water dog and would do great with a family who either lives by the water or who has a pool. We have a kiddie pool for our dogs and Powder loves just laying in it and cooling down. She's caught up on all her shots, very healthy and loves playing with our puppies. She's a beautiful open marked beagle, is AKC registered, and micro chipped. We're not looking to sell Powder. Knowing she's in a good home is good enough for us. If you're interested in a quirking, funny, older dog who still has a lot of living to do, Powder is your girl. Powder has never lived in a house before, so she will need some patience adjusting to inside living. She would be best suited with perhaps a situation where someone is home during the day or retired. At least in the beginning while she's adjusting. She loves being outside and would require a house with a fenced in yard, as all our dogs do. She's a very smart dog but she has been difficult to place because she needs that special someone who is willing to take a little older dog who has never been inside a home and teach her some house manners. Bonnie
As hard as it is to finally make the decision to put any of our dogs up for adoption, we realize that sometimes it's just the best decision for the dog. At six years old, Bonnie is still in the prime of her life with lots of energy, good health, and plenty of years ahead of her to share with a lucky family. She's a beautiful pedigree beagle. AKC papers, caught up on all her shots, and very healthy. She's six years old and has lots of spirit and energy. We've just starting looking now and are keeping our eyes open for just the right family. No big hurry for us. As with all our adult dogs, we want to make sure we find the perfect match for our dogs.
